It's a start !

Intrepid Wines is getting down to business! Over the past few days, we have submitted our first wine orders to the LCBO. The first wines ordered are from La Perla di Marco Triacca (Lombardy), Domaine Allemand (Provence), Domaine Laubarel (Sud-Ouest), Castello di Grumello (Lombardy), Le Pech d’André (Languedoc), and Campochiarenti (Tuscany). Next were wines from Tenuta la Tenaglia (Piedmont) and Frassinelli (Veneto). Wines from Château de Lacroux (Sud-Ouest), Domaine de la Viaudière (Loire), and Domaine Sergent (Sud-Ouest) will follow soon.

Our first 33 wines will become available over the coming weeks. You can track their gradual arrival by regularly checking the New Arrivals section on our website’s homepage. In the meantime, please feel free to familiarize yourself with the Order tab, as well as our policies regarding pricing and payment methods.

Our initial collection features 14 red wines, 8 white wines, 6 sparkling wines, and 5 rosés from France and Italy, many of which are certified organic. Most are made from rare grape varietals - or varietals that are rarely or never distributed in Ontario - complemented by wines made from globally renowned and appreciated grapes. A few currently out-of-stock wines will be added to the collection in the coming months.

Intrepid Wines is proud to be the exclusive Ontario distributor for wines from growers who cultivate their own vines and vinify their harvests on-site—adhering to the "Independent Winegrower" (vignerons indépendants / vignaioli independenti) standards. Most of these are family-run businesses with relatively small estates, a scale that fosters meticulous viticulture and winemaking focused on the quality of both the grapes and the finished wine.

Due to Ontario regulations, we sell our wines by the case (typically six bottles). However, we have spared no effort in sourcing high-quality wines at reasonable prices—to the delight of fellow wine enthusiasts!
